The TP-Link Tapo C216 is a compact pan/tilt Wi-Fi camera that works indoors or outside, so one model can watch a lounge, a baby's room, a stoep or a garage. A 1/3" Starlight sensor records 2K 3MP (2304 x 1296) video at 30 fps through a 4 mm F2.0 lens, and the head pans 360° and tilts 152° to follow movement. At night it switches between 12 m infrared and colour night vision. On-device AI detects people, motion and a crying baby, with activity zones and tamper alerts, and the built-in mic and speaker give two-way talk with noise cancellation. Footage goes to a microSD card of up to 512 GB (not included) or to Tapo Care cloud, and RTSP/ONVIF support lets it feed an NVR. It is IP65 rated, runs on 5 V USB-C, connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and works with Google Assistant, Alexa and SmartThings.
