The Tapo C236 is a 3K 5MP (2880 x 1620) pan/tilt Wi-Fi camera that works indoors or outdoors. It suits a lounge or baby room, or mounted under the eaves to cover a driveway or garden. It pans 360 degrees and tilts 151 degrees with smart motion tracking. Its F1.6 starlight sensor and built-in spotlights give colour night vision, and it falls back to IR when you want discreet monitoring. Free on-device AI detects people, pets, vehicles, line crossing, tampering and even a crying baby, and you can set activity and privacy zones in the Tapo app. It has two-way audio with noise cancellation, an IP65 weatherproof body, local recording to microSD up to 512 GB, optional Tapo Care cloud storage, and RTSP/ONVIF support for third-party NVRs. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and runs from a 5 V USB-C adapter (supplied, 2 m cable), drawing about 2.3 W. It mounts on a tabletop, wall or ceiling.
