The TP-Link Tapo C310 is a weatherproof outdoor Wi-Fi camera for keeping an eye on driveways, gates, yards and entrances. It records crisp 3MP (2304 x 1296) video through a 1/2.7" sensor and F2.2 lens, and its 850nm infrared night vision sees up to 30m in total darkness. When motion is detected you get an instant push notification on the free Tapo app, and you can trigger the built-in sound and light alarm to scare off intruders, or use two-way audio through the built-in microphone and speaker to talk to visitors. It connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) with 128-bit AES encryption and SSL/TLS, or by Ethernet cable if your Wi-Fi is weak outside. Recording can go to a microSD card in the camera. In the box you get the camera, power adapter (9V 0.6A), anchors and screws, and waterproof seal and cable attachments. It handles -20 °C to 45 °C, comfortably covering South African summers and Highveld winters.
