The TP-Link Tapo H100 is the plug-in hub that ties Tapo's battery-powered smart sensors, buttons and switches together, and doubles as an indoor alarm siren and doorbell chime. It plugs straight into a wall socket and talks to sub-devices over a low-power Sub-1GHz radio, which gives better range through walls and much longer battery life than Wi-Fi sensors, while it connects to your router over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. One hub supports up to 64 Tapo devices. Pair it with Tapo motion or contact sensors and it will sound an alarm to warn of danger or deter intruders; pair it with a Tapo Smart Button and it becomes a wireless doorbell with 19 ringtones. Everything is set up in the free Tapo app, and the hub works as a Matter controller for Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa. A SYNC/mute button sits on the side.
