TP-Link UE300 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter
TP-Link UE300 USB-3.0 to GBE Ethernet Network Adapter 1 to 1
The TP-Link UE300 adds a wired Gigabit Ethernet port to any laptop or PC with a USB-A port - ideal for ultrabooks, MacBook Air-style laptops and Chromebooks that ship without an RJ45 socket, or for replacing a dead onboard network port. Plug it into a USB 3.0 port and it delivers up to 1000 Mbps over a network cable, which is noticeably more stable than Wi-Fi for video calls, large downloads and working on the office network. It's built on the Realtek RTL8153 chipset and is plug-and-play on Windows XP and later, macOS 10.9 and later, Chrome OS and Linux (older macOS 10.6-10.8 needs a driver from TP-Link). It also works in USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports at those ports' lower speeds. The white body measures just 71 x 26 x 16.2 mm and the short cable folds back against the housing, so it slips easily into a laptop bag pocket. In the box: the UE300 adapter and a quick installation guide.
