The TP-Link VIGI C240 is a 4MP (2560 x 1440) full-colour dome IP camera for shops, offices, reception areas and home perimeters where you want colour footage around the clock. Its 1/3-inch sensor and F1.6 2.8 mm lens give a wide 95.7-degree horizontal view, and a built-in white light (plus IR) delivers colour night images up to about 30 m. On-board AI separates people and vehicles from other motion and supports line-crossing, intrusion, region entry/exit and object left/removed detection, so you get fewer false alerts. It has a built-in microphone for audio recording and a microSD slot (up to 256 GB) for edge storage. The housing is IP67 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-resistant, so it suits a South African stoep or carport. Power comes from PoE (802.3af/at) or 12 V DC, and it uses H.265+ compression. It works with the VIGI app, VIGI NVRs, VIGI Security Manager and ONVIF recorders. In the box: the camera, waterproof cable attachments, mounting accessories and a quick start guide.
