The TRENDnet TEW-816DRM combines a VDSL2/ADSL2+ modem and a dual-band AC750 wireless router in one box. It is a direct replacement for an ISP-supplied router on a copper DSL line, and the built-in modem supports VDSL2 downstream speeds of up to 200 Mbps (line dependent). Concurrent 433 Mbps 802.11ac (5 GHz) and 300 Mbps 802.11n (2.4 GHz) networks come pre-encrypted out of the box. For wired devices there are four 10/100 LAN ports. A Gigabit WAN port lets it act as a normal router behind fibre or another modem, and it also supports 3G WAN backup. Two USB 2.0 ports allow sharing over its SAMBA server. Other features include up to three guest networks per band, parental controls, SPI firewall, VPN passthrough, IPv6 and TR-069 remote management. In the box you get the router, a 1.5 m network cable, a 1 m RJ11 telephone cable, a 12 V 1.5 A power adapter, a quick installation guide and a CD. It measures 190 x 146 x 55 mm and weighs 323 g.
