The TRENDnet TUC-VGA is a compact USB Type-C to VGA adapter for connecting a laptop with a USB-C video-capable port to a monitor, projector or TV that only has a VGA input - still common on office projectors and older screens in South African boardrooms and classrooms. It supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz (full 1080p), and you can either extend your desktop onto the extra screen or duplicate (mirror) it for presentations. Use one TUC-VGA per extra display to build a multi-screen workstation. The adapter is powered by the computer, needs no external power, and has an LED status indicator. TRENDnet lists Windows 10 and macOS 10.6-10.11 compatibility. The white adapter measures 66 x 29 x 15 mm with a 140 mm cable and weighs about 60 g.
