The UniQue 3m 4K HDMI cable is a black HDMI-to-HDMI lead for connecting a game console, decoder, streaming box, Blu-ray player or PC to a TV, monitor or projector a few metres away. Gold-plated connectors give a reliable, corrosion-resistant contact, and moulded strain-relief boots reduce stress on the plug and socket when the cable is bent behind a TV cabinet. Esquire specifies it to the HDMI 1.4 standard with a 10.2Gbps bandwidth, which covers 1080p at all common refresh rates and 4K at up to 30Hz, and it is fully HDCP compliant so protected content from DStv, Netflix boxes and Blu-ray plays normally. Audio travels on the same cable, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstreams for a soundbar or AV receiver. Both ends are standard full-size HDMI male plugs. If you need 4K at 60Hz from a PS5 or Xbox Series X, an HDMI 2.0/2.1-rated cable is the safer choice. Supplied in retail packaging; Esquire lists no warranty.
