The Verbatim Vi5000 2TB (31827) is an internal M.2 2280 NVMe solid-state drive using a PCI Express 4.0 x4 interface, for upgrading desktops and laptops with a compatible M.2 slot. Verbatim rates it at up to 5,000 MB/s sequential read, with random performance of up to 715,000 read IOPS and 730,000 write IOPS, which cuts boot times, game and application load times and file transfers for video editing, gaming and content creation. Icecat lists sequential write at up to 4,300 MB/s. It uses 3D NAND flash, is rated for 2,500 TB written and has a mean time between failures of 1,000,000 hours. The drive measures 22 x 80 x 2.3 mm and weighs 6.5 g. It operates from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius and carries CE, FCC, REACH, RoHS and UKCA compliance. A quick-start guide is included.
