Verbatim Vi560 S3 Ssd 256gb Sata Iii M.2 (entry Level)

The Verbatim Vi560 S3 256GB (Verbatim part 49362) is an internal M.2 2280 solid state drive with a SATA III interface, an inexpensive way to speed up or replace the storage in a notebook, ultrabook, mini PC or desktop that has an M.2 SATA slot. It uses 3D NAND flash, and Verbatim rates the 256GB model at up to 520 MB/s sequential read and 470 MB/s sequential write, with random 4K performance of up to about 102,000 IOPS read and 80,000 IOPS write, giving much faster boot times and application loading than a mechanical hard drive. Endurance is rated at 110 TB written for this capacity, with an MTBF of 1.5 million hours. The drive has a B+M key, so check that your system's M.2 slot supports SATA drives: many newer laptops' M.2 slots are NVMe-only and will not recognise a SATA M.2 SSD. The card measures 80 x 22 x 2.3 mm and weighs 9 g, and draws about 1.4 W when reading and 0.45 W at idle. It carries a three-year limited warranty, and Verbatim recommends professional installation. This is an entry-level drive suited to upgrades of older systems and general office use.
