Verbatim Vi560 S3 Ssd 512gb Sata Iii M.2 (entry Level)

The Verbatim Vi560 S3 512GB (part 49363) is an internal M.2 2280 SSD that uses the SATA III (6 Gbit/s) interface rather than NVMe, making it the right upgrade for laptops, Ultrabooks and mini PCs whose M.2 slot supports SATA drives. It uses 3D NAND flash and is rated at up to 520 MB/s sequential read and 480 MB/s write, with random 4K performance of around 101,000 read and 80,400 write IOPS - a big improvement over a mechanical hard drive for boot times and application loading. The card is B+M keyed, so it fits both B-key and M-key SATA M.2 sockets, measures 80 x 22 x 2.3 mm and weighs 9 g. Verbatim quotes an MTBF of 1.5 million hours and a 240 TBW endurance rating for this capacity, typical power draw of about 1.4 W while reading or writing and 0.6 W idle, and 1,500 G operating shock resistance. It works with Windows, macOS and Linux. A quick start guide is included. Check your device supports SATA M.2 before buying; an NVMe-only slot will not recognise it.
