The Garmin vivoactive 6 is the newer generation of Garmin's mid-range everyday fitness smartwatch, refining the vivoactive 5's formula with a brighter display, doubled storage and expanded satellite coverage. This unit is finished in Black. It has a 1.2" AMOLED touchscreen at 390 x 390 resolution under Corning Gorilla Glass 3, in a single 42.2 x 42.2 x 10.9mm case weighing about 23g on its own (around 36g with the included band), rated to 5 ATM water resistance. Health features include the Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate sensor, Pulse Ox blood oxygen tracking, Body Battery energy monitoring, sleep and stress tracking, and onboard GPS covering GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS (still single-frequency, not multi-band). It includes 8GB of onboard storage for offline music, Garmin Pay contactless payments, and Bluetooth/ANT+/Wi-Fi connectivity. Battery life runs up to 11 days in smartwatch mode (around 4-5 days with the always-on display active), up to 21 hours in GPS-only mode, up to 17 hours with all-GNSS systems, or about 8 hours with GPS and music together, with a battery saver mode reaching up to 21 days. This suits buyers who want an updated, more capable everyday fitness watch than the vivoactive 5 without moving up to a fenix or Forerunner.
