The Waves eMotion LV1 Classic is a compact live mixing console that brings the Waves LV1 software mixer into a traditional hardware form factor for front-of-house, monitor, broadcast and house-of-worship engineers. It provides 64 stereo channels (128 inputs) and 44 stereo buses, expandable by software licence to 80 channels (160 inputs) and 52 buses, running on a double-precision 32-bit float mix engine at 44.1 - 96 kHz. The surface combines a 21.5-inch, 1,000-nit multi-touch screen with 16 + 1 motorised 100 mm faders and 16 + 1 encoders with per-channel LCD metering. On the rear are 16 Waves Signature Preamp mic/line inputs, 12 line outputs, one AES3 input with SRC, two AES3 outputs, four SoundGrid ports (2 etherCON, 2 RJ45), a high-power headphone output, HDMI, eight USB ports, a 12 V lamp socket and dual redundant power supplies. A built-in SoundGrid server runs an 8-slot plugin rack on every channel, with included processors such as Waves Tune Real-Time, F6 Dynamic EQ, X-FDBK and R-Verb. The console measures 402 x 561 x 560 mm and weighs 17.2 kg, and can be expanded with Waves IONIC stageboxes, extra servers and Dante or MADI interfaces.
