Garmin Xdcr,B175H,8-pin,CHIRP,1kW,Brnz Thru-hull, 12, HF

The Airmar B175H is the high-frequency (H) element from Airmar's B175 broadband CHIRP thru-hull transducer series -- the higher-frequency counterpart to the B175M mid-frequency element, sold here through Garmin's marine electronics catalogue for direct installation with Garmin CHIRP-capable sounders and chartplotter/sonar combo units. Like the rest of the B175 family it's a permanent bronze thru-hull sensor, with the housing protruding less than 1/4 inch outside the hull once flush-mounted through a below-waterline bore, so it adds no meaningful drag once installed.
Where the H element trades some of the M element's extra depth penetration for finer target separation and sharper bottom detail -- better suited to shallower-to-moderate-depth fishing where picking individual fish out from structure matters more than chasing maximum depth -- this specific unit is Airmar's 12-degree tilted-element version, built with a fixed internal tilt to compensate for a hull deadrise of roughly 12 degrees at the mounting location, so the beam still points straight down at the seabed rather than off to one side on an angled hull. It shares the family's 1kW power rating, an 8-pin connector for direct wiring into a compatible Garmin sounder module or MFD sonar input, and CHIRP broadband transmission for depth sounding and fish/bottom imaging. Sold as the transducer and mounting hardware only, for a fixed thru-hull installation.
