Garmin Xero X1i Crossbow Scope

Garmin Xero X1i Crossbow Scope

The Garmin Xero X1i is a digital crossbow scope that replaces a traditional optical reticle with a built-in laser rangefinder and an automatically-adjusted illuminated aiming point -- rather than a hunter ranging a target separately and then holding over or under on a fixed reticle for the estimated distance, the X1i ranges the target the instant the range button is pressed and immediately displays a single aiming point already corrected for that exact distance, calibrated during setup to a specific bolt and crossbow combination's ballistics. It uses a compact Porro-prism optical design with 3.5x fixed magnification and a bright, multi-colour digital display for the aiming point rather than an etched glass reticle.

More Info

In practical use on a hunt, it ranges live game targets out to roughly 250 yards and reflective/hard targets out to 500+ yards, with a silent range button (no audible beep to spook game) and a low-light-capable illuminated aiming point with brightness control tied to an ambient light sensor. Because the ballistic correction happens automatically per shot rather than via a fixed multi-reticle ladder, it's aimed at crossbow hunters who want one consistent, always-corrected aiming point regardless of range, including on moving targets where there's no time to consult a separate rangefinder. It weighs about 1.9 lb (862g) and measures roughly 6.2 x 2.6 x 3.7 inches with a 32mm (1.2 in) objective lens. Sold as the scope unit itself for mounting on a compatible crossbow rail -- not bundled with a crossbow, quiver, or bolts.
