The Xilica XC-S2R is a two-channel relay output card for Xilica's modular Solaro series DSP processors, used in meeting rooms, conference spaces, classrooms, houses of worship and other installed audio systems. Solaro processors accept plug-in I/O option cards so the system can be configured with exactly the inputs, outputs and control interfaces a project needs, and the XC-S2R adds relay control. It lets the processor switch equipment that is not on the network and cannot be controlled over Ethernet, Dante or GPIO, for example motorised projection screens, lifts and blinds, room lighting, 'on air' or 'in use' signs, or the power of other devices, triggered from the DSP logic or a control interface. Each of the two channels is a single-pole relay with normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) and common contact terminals on a pluggable orange terminal block, rated for switching up to 24 V DC. The card installs in a free card slot of a compatible Solaro processor and is covered by Xilica's five-year limited warranty.
