Yamaha DHR12M Powered Speaker

The Yamaha DHR12M is a 12-inch, 1000 W powered floor monitor from Yamaha's DHR series, designed for stage monitoring in bands, churches, schools and rental inventories. It is a bi-amped two-way design with a 12-inch ferrite woofer (2.5-inch voice coil) and a coaxial 1-inch throat compression driver with a 1.75-inch diaphragm, giving a wide 90 x 90 degree coverage pattern and a 57-degree wedge angle so performers stay in the sweet spot. Class-D amplification delivers 1000 W dynamic (800 W LF + 200 W HF) or 465 W continuous, reaching 129 dB SPL peak, with a frequency range of 55 Hz - 20 kHz. Yamaha's FIR-X tuning linear-phase crossover at 1.8 kHz, a selectable high-pass filter and D-CONTOUR modes (FOH/Main or Monitor) help it sound clear at high levels. Inputs are two combo XLR/TRS channels plus RCA, with an XLR link output. The plywood cabinet has a tough polyurea black finish, a side handle and a 35 mm pole socket so it can also be used on a stand. It measures 500 x 343 x 454 mm and weighs 16.5 kg.
