The Zebra FXR90 is an ultra-rugged fixed RFID reader designed for permanent installation in industrial and warehouse environments, reading UHF RFID tags rather than optical barcodes. It includes Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6 for connectivity, an integrated cross-polarized linear antenna (allowing it to read tags regardless of orientation), and support for external antennas for wider or directional coverage. Fixed RFID readers like this are mounted at dock doors, on conveyor lines, or at portal/gate points to automatically track pallets, cases, or assets as they pass, without manual scanning. Bought by logistics operators, manufacturers, and retailers building automated inventory or asset-tracking systems.
