The Zebra MC3390xR is a rugged handheld UHF RFID reader in a scanner-gun form factor, combining a long-range linear RFID antenna with Zebra's SE4850 extended-range 2D imager so field and warehouse staff can read RFID tags and barcodes from further away than a standard short-range scanner. It includes 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi for real-time wireless connectivity to warehouse management systems, a 47-key keypad for data entry, and an extended-capacity battery for long shifts away from a charger. This class of device is used for inventory counts, asset tracking, receiving/put-away and logistics operations across large warehouses or yards where read range and battery endurance matter more than a compact consumer scanner.
