The Zebra MC3390xR is a pistol-grip handheld UHF RFID reader built for warehouses, distribution centres and retail back-rooms that need to read RFID tags at range rather than scan barcodes one at a time. Its linear antenna gives it a longer, more directional read range suited to reading tags deep inside pallets or on shelving from a distance, while a built-in SE4750MR 2D imager still handles conventional barcode scanning on the same device. It runs on 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with Google Mobile Services, has a 47-key keypad for data entry, 4GB of memory, and an extended-capacity battery for full-shift use. Typical buyers are logistics and inventory teams doing RFID-based stock counts and asset tracking.
