This is a three-year renewal licence for Zebra's MWE (Multiwave Enterprise) RFID Reader Management software, covering up to 50 RFID readers under one licence. It's a pure software/support product — a licence renewal plus software maintenance and basic telephone support — not a physical reader itself. Zebra's reader management software is used by businesses running fleets of fixed or handheld RFID readers (common in retail inventory, warehouse and supply-chain tracking) to centrally monitor, configure and maintain those readers' firmware and health. Buyers are IT/operations teams already running a Zebra RFID reader deployment who need to keep their existing reader-management licensing and support current rather than lapse.
