This is a Zebra MP7200-series bioptic scanner, the kind of dual-window checkout scanner built into a supermarket or retail counter that reads barcodes both from above and through a horizontal glass window as items are swiped across it, allowing fast, high-throughput scanning without the cashier needing to aim a handheld scanner at every item. This "SHORT" configuration is the shorter-arm version for tighter counter installations, explicitly specified as "NO SCALE" meaning it doesn't include an integrated weighing scale (used for produce/weight-priced items in some grocery configurations). It has a sapphire glass scan window for scratch resistance under constant item swiping, and is built for worldwide regulatory compliance.
