The ZTE G5TS Pro is an indoor 5G router for homes and small offices that want fibre-like speeds over the mobile network, or have no fibre in the street. Insert an activated nano-SIM from your 5G provider and it shares the connection over dual-band Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and over several wired Ethernet ports for a PC, TV or console. 2.4 GHz gives better range through walls and 5 GHz gives higher speeds close to the router. Status LEDs on the unit show signal strength, whether it is on 5G or 4G, and Wi-Fi status. Settings such as the Wi-Fi name and password can be changed through the web interface, using the default login printed on the label under the router. The SIM slot and reset button sit on the base, and there is a USB-C port. It is a sensible choice where 5G coverage is good. Check your network's 5G coverage at your address before buying.
